The charitable purpose of the Nevada Senior Ride Corporation (aka) “Nevada SR” is to improve the quality of life for frail, elderly and senior persons with disabling disorders, the chronically ill senior and the non - ill senior needing transportation, by supporting and assisting them and/or their caregivers and families with services not otherwise available or accessible.

OUR BACKGROUND:
Nevada Senior Ride Corporation (aka) “Nevada SR” was formed in June 2009 by, with and for seniors and their transportation needs in Southern Nevada.
After working with valley seniors and other non profit organizations for many years, the staff - professionally trained and dedicated men and women decided together to provide a new program for seniors that filled transportation gaps that were obvious in the valley.
Volunteers are always welcome. There is lots of work to be done!
Employment of seniors with spotless driving records and caring hearts is a must!
Professional drivers are licensed, bonded and insured
Program manager/driver is professionally trained by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada to drive seniors
Board members, staff and volunteers have committed themselves to transportation services for seniors in the valley, who are currently without it or who have sporadic transportation that is limited and un-reliable.
It is a known fact that safe, secure, timely rides to the doctor encourages wellness, reduces patient stress and promotes trust between the doctor and the patient.
OUR COMMITMENT:
Nevada Senior Ride Corporation (aka) “Nevada SR” is committed to provide door-to-door service for seniors.
Our transportation services are especially suited for those seniors who are frail, handicapped, blind, without a home/medical companion or seniors who lack the ability to drive any longer.
Our services work closely with the doctors in the valley whose patients need transportation that is safe, timely and professional. The doctor’s medical staff can call for a patients scheduled ride or call to check on their schedule.
OUR SERVICES:
Our services are provided free of charge if the doctor is currently contracting with us for transportation.
Minimal charges and fees apply for patients whose doctor does not contract with us. Our programs are donation/grant financed.
All donations are tax deductible and receipts are provided upon request.

Nevada Senior Ride Corporation (aka) “Nevada SR” can provide rides and act as your travelling companion from your door to your appointment to your return home.

Additional volunteers are available to assist you with cooking, meal planning, minor housekeeping and plant/pet care upon request… (small fees apply)
