MISSION

The Indigenous People’s Center is a (501©3)Non Profit Corporation registered in the State of Nevada and incorporated with the Internal Revenue Service 04/04/04. The Indigenous People’s Center believes in economic investment in Indian Country.

We further believe that economic development improves the quality of life for Native American, Alaskan Indians, Hawaiian and other minority communities and their people. We continue to sponsor events dedicated to improving Native American, Alaskan Indians, Hawaiian and other minority communities. This has included sponsorships for events geared toward economic improvement, employment, small business development, native business and tourism development in Indigenous People’s Center Country.

Economic development projects include collaboration with other organizations serving indigenous people in:

o       Economic development [Mission statement development, long term goals and objectives…]

o       Feasibility studies including examination of economic, marketing, technical, managerial and financial aspects of proposed business with a slant towards indigenous peoples cultural, spiritual and environmental integrity…

o       Law Services [including drafting constitutions, drafting codes, translation of federal law…]

o       Indian Child Welfare Services [including case management, family counseling, adoption and foster care matters…]

o       Counseling Services [including case management both long term and short term…]

o       Educational, tutorial services[ including math, reading, science, literacy programs for pre-school up through high school…]

o       Business plans [charter and State/IRS forms]

o       Training

o       Fundraising [including special events, grant writing/coordination/management]

o       Marketing [including Marketing Plan development, Public Relations, Advocacy]
