The Non Profit Business Development Center was formed in 1988 with this as its purpose: to develop an Information / Referral and Training Center for the Non Profit and small business community.

Founder Linda Sapp~Cox, has been involved in the Non Profit community nationwide since 1954. She has developed non profit organizations and aided in their financial stability with grants, fund raising activities, special events, business plans and strategic planning.

She has taught classes in Grantsmanship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) , the Community College of Southern Nevada, Neighborhood Services Center for the City of Las Vegas, as well as hosting a variety of workshops and seminars internationally for various multi-cultural groups including several Native American groups and reservations. She also serves as an International Non Profit Consultant to several countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia; Belgium and Buenos Aries.

Dismayed by the lack of resources found in Nevada, Linda dreamed of creating an Information and Referral source where clients in need of services, AND service centers in need of clients could be brought together. Where organizations could find AND share information and resources, and where organizations could receive the training necessary to survive today's ever changing legal and cultural environment. A center for both paid and volunteer staff.

That dream is being realized  at the Non Profit Business Development Center. The development of your vision and the empowerment through training of your staff and volunteers is a reality here.
